Do you feel at the ‘end of your tether’? Are you confused by all the different opinions about ‘mothering’ and want to talk to someone with a gentle, commonsense approach?

Would you ‘kill’ for a couple of hours sleep? Do you need help around the house so you can concentrate on your baby?

Or do you just need someone to look after you?

After a baby is born, most new parents are greatly in need of extra support, especially if the birth was difficult. Assistance is broad and flexible and can come in many forms such as practical home help, shopping, knowledge of childhood services, and childcare. Breastfeeding is an area that can also cause great concern to mothers. Your doula is experienced and trained in Breastfeeding Counselling and can assist with many lactation difficulties or worries. She can help you on your way to a fulfilling breastfeeding relationship with your baby.

Your Doula can also provide understanding and reliable, emotional support during this often-turbulent time. Frequency of visits and number of hours are arranged by you, based on the support you desire and need.
