calmbirth® guides a mother, with support from her partner, to birth the baby comfortably, naturally and as happily as possible. Anxiety and fear are reduced by the application of simple relaxation and breathing techniques. calmbirth® also allows and encourages fathers to play an active role in their baby’s birth and to help lay the foundation for a peaceful birth experience. calmbirth® childbirth education classes can be taken by anyone; first-time parents, parents who have had unsatisfying or upsetting previous births, or parents who just want their birth to be a wonderfully calm experience.
Your calmbirth® course includes written notes for future referral and relaxation CD’s. calmbirth® childbirth education is rewarding, relaxing and stress free. To get the most from your calmbirth® classes, they are best taken somewhere between 23 – 34 weeks of your pregnancy, but if you are further along, still give us a call and we will see what can be organised. calmbirth® is available in a series of 5 evenings or 2 full days (usually on Saturday’s or Sunday’s).
